December 20, 20223 yr good evening, with this an email for help, so that I can help my grandson. After purchasing the msfl steam x on steam ... he made the purchase MSFS 2020 in July this year, after many problems he did it, then followed a 5 weeks ago an update ... the HD turned out to be too small, although there was still a 220 gb free, so I bought an external ssd of 500 gb ... and the update succeeded and the game worked .Now Yesterday 19/12 he got while playing playing the game, the message that the trustmaster TCA was disconnected ??? the joystick still worked ... he has the captainpack airbus from trustmaster . When we open the folder where trustmaster is installed .. I see the joystick, and on the screen you can see that all buttons and movements work. I also see the TCA (gas etc) and all keys, switches work ... and yet during the game ... the TCA is not linked ... so the TCA does not work ... you also see a question mark in the lower right corner of the frame . So .. what can we do. for the joystick firmware 1.11 control panel 3.07 and for the TCA firmware 1.69 control panel 3.07 ... the game laptop runs on win 11. please advise and help

Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
December 23, 20223 yr See https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/628229-controls-disconnecting-from-sim-mid-flight/ The computer can put USB ports to "sleep" to save power unless you prevent that. Go to Control Panel > Device Manager > Human Interface Devices , click on each HID and check the power setting. Note not all will have a Power Management tab option. I'm thinking one of the HIDs is your trustmaster captain pack TCA. Al Edited December 23, 20223 yr by ark
