December 19, 20223 yr As I seem to be having all sorts of sim'isms today, has anyone had a hardware controller disconnect from the sim mid-flight? Particularly annoying after anytime spent in cruise realising that you can't activate any axis on any controller. Just dead. Second time this has happened in a month
December 19, 20223 yr Do you know about USB power management in Win 10/11? By default, USB devices that use the built-in Microsoft drivers could be subject to power off if idle. Check this out if needed: How to Fix or Use USB Selective Suspend Settings on Windows 10 - WinBuzzer (sorry for the spammy article. I'm on the way out the door 🙂 ) Edited December 19, 20223 yr by hs118 My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.

December 19, 20223 yr Sounds like Windows power management (again). A recent Windows update appears to have re-enabled the option for the OS to power down a port if it thinks it's not being used (e.g. a long period without inputs while flying on autopilot). Go into device manager, and check the properties of all your listed USB devices--if it has a power management tab, make sure that "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unticked. December 19, 20223 yr I seem to have this issue of clicking an undocked window and all Joystick inputs cease until I click the MSFS window again. Kinda a oddity. Brian Thibodeaux | B747-400/8, C-130 Flight Engineer, CFI, Type Rated: BE190, DC-9 (MD-80), B747-400 My Liveries
