December 22, 20223 yr Running latest AAO with MSFS with the Fenix a320 loaded. I am using the Thrustmaster throttle quad and the Thrustmaster airbus joystick. I can calibrate each using the Thrustmaster control panel app and each is seen in MSFS. However, when I tried to map a button from the joystick to the Fenix via AAO, AAO doesn't see the joystick or button push. Any reason why AAO cannot see the joystick while everything else can?

Check the dialog "Hardware->Device Blacklist". If the device can't be accessed for whatever reason it will end up here. Where/how are you looking for that device in AAO? LORBY-SI
December 22, 20223 yr Author I tried clicking on the device field when trying to map a button (add button assignment) and the joystick wasn't coming up. Will try the blacklist idea.
December 22, 20223 yr Author Ok the joystick somehow got blacklisted. I moved it over to the active devices. All is well.

Will try the blacklist idea. That is never the case. The device dropdown gets filled with data when you press a button on your joystick, not before. LORBY-SI

That happens automatically when the device cannot be accessed. It seems a little bit as if MSFS is starting to "block" devices, so other apps can't access them anymore. Make sure that there are no conflicting assignments in MSFS. LORBY-SI
March 24, 20233 yr I am having similar issues with my TCA was working fine installed FSiPanel now issues with TCA. Tried recalibrating but not getting anywhere. I see it in Control options but not with Fenix and appears uncalibrated now. What do you mean by AAO and where is Hardware device blacklist? All help appreciated. Dave Boreham
