I used to have friends in University at Buffalo, and have visited the Falls during both Summer, and Winter....minus The Maid of the Mist, in Winter, of course ...

This week, I was looking at the news pictures, and your shots capture the spirit and ambience remarkably well...except for the broken ice and rocks and such at the bottom of the fall...

Those are some very realistic images and for me,hard to imagine just how cold it has been in that part of the world.

Meanwhile, the air con is at the ready here as we are expecting around 100f by the week end.☹️
