Thrustmaster TPR - Pendular Rudder Pedals

Yes, looking at these to replace my MFG's which I've enjoyed for over 5 yrs flying B738-800 and A320 but they have been playing up for quite a while, (either the PCB or (more likely) one of the cables is faulty). Replacement parts are available via the MFG website but the overall cost, delivery and import duty (UK) is making me wonder if I wouldn't just be better off getting a new set of pedals especially if they're in a sale some time.

So, what do you think of the TM TPR's ... they look like a substantial upgrade?

They are an upgrade. There is no side movement at all pure push. Everything is metal and adjustable. Would never think about replacing them and I don't think they will ever wear out the way there built. 10/10 for me.

Thanks for commenting... pretty much decided to go for them... will need to adjust my setup to accommodate them... just waiting to see if the current UK price (£449) drops as they were on offer at £279 just before Christmas but I hadn't started looking at them then.

Just looking for a more realistic setup. I have a throttle quadrant on order from throttletek and have a realistic airbus stick so I wanted to see if there was anything more a320 specific.

Why? I can see this making sense for a joystick, but you never look at your rudder pedals.

I use the Thrustmaster pedals for all planes. They work just fine and are dirt cheap.

I have the Virpil VPC Ace Collection Pedals,

They are solidly built and are extremely precise. I was lucky to find a pair locally that were 3 months old for a great price

I can highly recommend them
