August 5, 200718 yr Does anyone know how to remove the vast amount of water around the New Orleans area. It seems to me that the scenery was created after Hurricane Katrina. There is water under the interstates while taking off from KMSY. Any help is appreciated.Bonnie
August 5, 200718 yr I see water along I-10 where it crosses the Bonnie Carre spillway - which is realistic, through simplified. That is just about 6 miles straight out Rwy 28 takeoff. Going down to ground level - it looks much like I remember from about two years before the hurricane. The only other water I see related to Interstates is the long bridge over the eastern end of Lake Pontchartrain - which is realistic.I really don't see anything which looks unusual. Not, FS does have an issue with seasonal variations in water level. It simply cannot do them. Most water in FS is displayed at the 'conservation pool' or 'mean high water' mark. That will appear high to many people quite often. I know the lakes around the Dallas area looked too full, too large for a couple years until this summer's rainy season.

August 6, 200718 yr Author I use UTX USA and it is pretty much spot-on. The only thing is some of the water should probably look more like "marsh" rather than open water with waves.
