August 9, 200718 yr When you change headings the sun illuminates the VC brighter/darker.Any way I can turn this off, so my panel will be as bright as my 2D panel? Thanks
August 10, 200718 yr I just keep the nav lights on all the time..You still see the shadows, etc, but it's notso drastic.MK Mark Keith
August 12, 200718 yr I don't know if it can be turned off or not.I wonder if some aftermarket aircraft like the Level-D 767 have "brighter" VC's? I too think many VC's are too dark but I think that's as much a texturing issue as anything.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

There are some techniques modelers can use to either reduce or eliminate the issue, but absolutely nothing the user can do......aside from installing some additional "overhead flood lights" in the virtual cockpit via .fx files in the aircraft.cfg's "Light" section.
