sim weather difference xp12

hi everybody, i have a difference in the live weather. i think i follow the right steps, on p2a config, i choose sim weather, then xp12 path, output, realweather folder. but when i check the live weather txt file there and the p2a wx weather, i have different values. any ideas? how can i be sure the right weather file is being read? or is there an update button? thanks

P2A reads the last file in the real weather folder that starts with "metar".  For example metar-2023-01-14-16.30.txt.

If you're using real weather in X-Plane, then you are probably better off selecting NOAA weather in P2A.

There is always the likelihood of a slight difference in when the file is read by P2A and when it is read and written by X-Plane, so it might never match exactly.

Also, wind directions in METAR reports are true bearings, and Wind is given by ATC in Magnetic, so the wind direction will never match.  Display of winds in P2A is also magnetic.
