Hi all, I have the opportunity of potentially picking up a VRinsight Boeing MCP, does anyone else have one, and can recommend or not? Simple to set up with PMDG in MSFS?

i9-13900K | 6400MHz DDR5 (32GB) | GeForce RTX 4090 24GB

MSFS 2024 | PMDG 777-300ER | FBW A380X | Fenix A320 | ini A350

I have the VRInsight MCP2 Boeing.

Recommend? If you like touching and turning knobs yourself versus the mouse, then yes,

Setup? In MSFS, you need a program to "talk" to the VRInsight. You have two choices. Axis and Ohs (payware)  (there is a subforum on Avsim you can check out) and you have LINDA (Donation ware) (requiring FSUIPC which is a payware utility). LINDA also has a subforum on Avsim.

I do not have AXIS and Ohs, so hopefully @Lorby_SI can attest to its ease of setup. (He's the dev and very responsive)

With LINDA, you have to install FSUIPC and then insure the files are in the right place. Its not tough to setup.

Just my opinion only: It seems like more folks have moved to Axis from LINDA. You can currently get the module for the 737 (and other planes) in either solution.

I'm enjoying my VRI, but I do have to admit I'm looking for something more modern these days.

Hope that helped.
