Today i started a new flight attempt with the PMDG738 newest Version 3.0.60 and the first thing i always look at ( with the PMDG 737XX series ) is the working of the 2D pop up panel ( from the outside view ) - and to tell you guys i was shocking surprised to see it works now 😇 -  after such a long time perod I didn't believe it was going to happen, finally !!

Now the fun to fly this bird is back for me and i am realy happy they fixed this annoying issue ( at least from my point of view ).

A question, does the weather radar actually work on any way , anyone knows, i tried with this test but didn`t see any, but maybe i am doeing someting wrong here ?

cheers 😉

Nope.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

What 2D pop up panel are you using in external view?
is it now possible to use the  MCDU in a pop up panel that I can position as wanted in the cockpit view?

First, no u can not pop up the MCDU .

I have a 3 monitor setup where my middle monitor is MSFS, my left is where i use the open LNM and my right i us for the pop up 2d panel with the Glass Instruments inside.

As i often be in the outside view it is good to have the glass Instruments ( pfd, eicas ect. ) on my left Monitor to always see what is goeing on there.

I always fly this way so i do like to have this 2D pop up panel on it's own monitor and now after a long time PMDG got it to work so you can use it from the outside plane view.

cheers 😉
