PMDG 737 performance since latest update

Featured Replies

I'm finding since the latest update V3.0.60 The 737 takes forever to reach its cruising Altitude on one hour flight it does not even get past FL260 or  faster than Mach .650. Its effecting all my 737 models using different wights and fuel including very light weight

I flew KDTW to KBOS yesterday in the 738 and topped out at 39,000. The flight was between 500nm - 600nm and I spent considerable time at cruise. I was flying a Delta livery with 12 first class and 148 coach capacity and was loaded with 129 total, 6000lbs. cargo, and around 15,800 lbs. of fuel. I will admit the climb above 25,000 or so was slow, 1500fpm then down to 1000fpm above 35,000. At 39,000 the margin between cruise (.774) and never exceed speed and stall speed was around 10 - 15kts up and down.

Performance didn't seem unusual to me, but of course I don't fly the thing IRL and have no more than a passing knowledge of IRL climb performance. I had GREAT winds for the flight, almost directly on the tail and about 100kts, so we were doing 630+ mph over the ground.

Is it possible you weren't configured...possibly gear or spoilers extended?
