FS-ATC-Chatter 1.2.2 Beta 1 is ready:

Overview

This is a simple bug fix release for FS-ATC-Chatter

Download from https://www.stickandrudderstudios.com/downloads/FS-ATC-Chatter_1.2.2B1_Demo.zip?v=

How to Install

  1. Make a backup copy of your existing FS-ATC-Chatter folder. The beta archive only contains the 400 U.S. demo clips so Do Not delete the current FS-ATC-Chatter from your hard drive or you will lose your purchased clips.
  2. Download the archive from the link above
  3. Unzip the archive into a temporary folder
  4. Copy the resulting FS-ATC-Chatter folder from step 3 to the same disk drive location as your current FS-ATC-Chatter folder, allowing your copy utility to over-write / merge any existing files.
  5. Start X-Plane and make sure that the FS-ATC-Chatter control panel title bar indicates that you are running 1.2.2. Also, verify that the release notes in UserGuide.pdf indicate that this is Beta 1.

You can report problems and any feedback in this thread.

Release Notes for Beta 1

  • Fixed a bug where you could not tune any 8.33 Khz spacing frequencies using the nearest facilities dialog
  • Changed clip updates to use HTTP for all actions

Note: You may get an initial notification that there are clip updates when in fact your clip collection may already be up to date. This is due to the change in how we get the full clip manifest.

Known Problems

  • None that I know of

What's Next

  • Fix any bugs that come up

Mark, I followed your above instruction to the letter and unless I've overlooked something, I still get the 8.33KHz pop-up warning message.

Appreciate assistance.

For your additional information, I am running P3Dv4.5HF3 and aircraft is from the Aerosoft Airbus Pro series v1.4.3.2.
Platform: Windows 10 Pro

Am overall very impressed with FS-ATC-Chatter but just a pity that I need to skip certain frequencies.

Thank you.

Herman

Hello Mark,

Yes, it indicates FS ATC Chatter v1.2.2

Peraps your product update is 100% but that the issue involves the Aerosoft products. I've sent a query to the Aerosoft Helpdesk just in case as well.

Will provide feedback as soon as I've received a response.

@markcellis my understanding is that P3D only introduced 833 support in v5, but maybe that's not the case. @Hauer are you able to tune 833 frequencies in the aircraft itself?

Seems it was indeed introduced with P3Dv5 onwards. I am able to manually dial into the relevant 8.33KHz frequencies so will do it that way.

Thank you for your efforts...

  3. Unzip the archive into a temporary folder
  4. Copy the resulting FS-ATC-Chatter folder from step 3 to the same disk drive location as your current FS-ATC-Chatter folder, allowing your copy utility to over-write / merge any existing files.
  5. Start FS-ATC-Chatter.exe and make sure that the FS-ATC-Chatter control panel title bar indicates that you are running 1.2.2. Also, verify that the release notes in UserGuide.pdf indicate that this is 1.2.2.
