Little issues with release 2.8.8

Featured Replies

Hi, would like to know if the removal from the command bar the button to toggle keeping the user plane centered in the map which I found very usefull) was a  choice or a bug, because the possibility still exist on the map menu, with the same icon that in the command bar is esed for showing the user plane.

Another issue is that the button in the command line to show the plane track, when pressed show or cancel the track of previous flight together with the one of the new flight. If you want to show only the new flight you have to close and restart the program before the flight. Previously you could keep the program open and deleting the track before starting a new flight.

I realize those are minor issues, but for a very old user of Little Navmap are changes that I would have avoided.

Thanks for this program that is my companion in all my flights.

I did not remove any buttons in 2.8.8. I even restored a button which removed before and I thought is not helpful on the toolbar. You can post a screenshot to clarify: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/605519-how-to-post-a-screenshot-or-files/

Not sure if I understand but there is a global trail covering all flights and this is restored on startup. You can remove it in the menu "Map" -> "Delete user aircraft trail" or in the toolbar. No need to restart LNM to get rid of it.

Then there is a track which is added to each logbook entry and this is shown if you select an entry in the tab "Logbook".

I also noticed that the startup time of the application from the desktop is taking twice or three times longer than before (compared to the situation 3 or 4 days ago).

This is most likely a weather download, a forgotten spatial search in the airport/navaid tab, a slow map theme (OpenTopoMap is very slow now), a Windows update or an anti-virus update.

Exclude the LNM settings folder and maybe the installation folder from anti-virus scanning.

Will check. Thanks!
