February 13, 20233 yr I wonder if anyone can help or clarify something for me. Under system/display/graphics I see 4 instances of flightSimulator.exe under custom options for apps. Can anyone tell me whether three of these can be deleted? In task manager only one instance of FlightSimulator.exe is actually running. I'm wondering why there are 4 instances and how they may have got there. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions. I'll not suggest or recommend anything but in the list I have there are no programs with duplicate (or more) entries. Did you reinstall MSFS on 4 different occasions without a clean install of windows? -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
February 15, 20233 yr Author Update. I deleted the older ones with no noticeable detriment, so all is OK. I'm guessing that they may have been related to previous installs.
