February 15, 20233 yr Author Ok, 4090 it is. Future proofing as i do not want to upgrade the GPU for at least 4-5 years! Since MSFS is constantly evolving, it is a matter of time when the 16GB VRAM wall gets close to being breached. All it will take is a 8k or higher scenery or aircraft and may have an issue there. Just would like to know if there is anything special i need to do in regard to Vsync, Gsync, frame lock to avoid stutters, screan tearing etc. I have a Samsung Odyssey G7 with 240HZ max refresh rate with Gsync compatibility. Most likely to enable G-sync in monitor and driver levels and leave everything else alone?
