February 27, 20233 yr Hey guys, I have film grain and sharpen set to 0 sun looks much better. Would you guys recommend turning anymore off to 0? like color grading etc? thanks Mike
February 27, 20233 yr I found mine looked a bit washed out without the colour grading, but it might just be a placebo effect - see what you think, as it might be different for different video cards. I set shadows to 6144 for a nice sharp edge without the flickering. 4096 might be better for lower spec computers. Some of the settings lack an explanation. It would be nice if Asobo told us what they do at some stage, but I believe they don't really want people tampering about in the file. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
February 27, 20233 yr Filngrain and sharpen set to 0 for me too. I think those are the only changes I have made which look better too. I tried a few others, but changed them back except for the above. Odd that there is a setting for Ray tracing though when so far as I am aware, MSFS does not even use Ray tracing.
