Entitled to a digital version of FS2020?

Featured Replies

Sorry wrong place.

Where to post?

A friend of mine has MSFS2020 primium de luxe on disc (10 CDs).
Is he entitled to a digital version of MSFS2020?

In a roundabout way he qualifies for the digital version. After installing the box set of discs, he is given access to the digital version and required to reinstall just about the entire sim before he can use it.

Not helping, I know.😉

The good news is that, just as in my case who bought the "Standard" version on release, I only installed it using the DVDs once...

After redeaming the key, I made an ISO of disk 1 and whenever I have to reinstall MFS I mount it on my PC, and start the install process, these days through xBox.

I also use the xBox Insider App to opt for participation in the beta branch of the sim.
