April 1, 20233 yr I have tried to bind a hardware key to the Sayit! button but it does not work. Tried F12, ENTER and some Joystick buttons. My PTT button does work with a joystick button btw. What could be the problem? Or even better: the solution? April 1, 20233 yr Commercial Member It's possible that the key(s) you are trying to set for the SayIt button are already in use by another program and that program is blocking their use in P2A. You can just try other keys or figure out what other programs, including your SIM, might be already using the key you want. As long as you have a Joystick button that works, you might just want to stick with that. Dave Edited April 1, 20233 yr by Dave-Pilot2ATC
April 1, 20233 yr Commercial Member Another possibility is the AppConfig.xml file where these settings are stored has become corrupt and is not able to save the settings. In that case, you can rename or delete the AppConfig.xml file so all Config settings go back to default and a new AppConfig.xml file will be built the next time you save a Config setting. The AppConfig.xml file is located at: c:\users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Settings\AppConfig.xml where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. Dave

I already found that xml file and saw my Sayit key mentioned, but not working. So probably indeed a double bind. Should the Sayit button in P2A window also get a colour, just like the PTT button turning green when pushed?
