April 3, 20233 yr I think I did everything as instructed: Run MakeRunways according to the MakeRunways instructions. After that finishes, find the folder that contains the t5.csv, r5.csv, g5.csv and runways.xml files Start P2A and open TaxiMnt and select the Import Scenery tab Enter the folder containing the files listed in #2 in the top Source folder block and check the button to the left of the folder for P3D/MSFS Folder with MakeRunway Files Check all the option boxes to the right of the Purple area except the bottom one if you don't want non-AIRAC airports Click on Import Taxiways from All Airports (Green button) Wait for the 5-10 minutes for it to finish and a popup dialog saying it is done. It will hit 100% for Runways first, then do the Taxiways Click on the Purple Import Gates from All Airports Wait for 5-10 minutes for it to finish and a popup dialog saying it’s finished. Close Taxi Mnt Shut down P2A Restart P2A But there are still MSFS airports that are missing in P2A and they are visible in r5.csv and Runways.txt and runways.xml for instance UNBU. So I can't make a flightplan with these airports. I still must be doing something wrong🙁
April 4, 20233 yr Commercial Member On the FltPln tab of Config, be sure the "Only Use Airports in AIRAC Data" option is not checked. Even then, if an airport is in the data but doesn't have runways defined with Landing/Takeoff permission, it won't be available in P2A. That would be very rare since almost all airports have runways defined, but some don't. Dave
April 4, 20233 yr Author Thanks @Dave-Pilot2ATC that option was not checked. I saw this post:https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/587632-makerunways-for-msfs-2020-beta/page/5/ and there was UNBU in "Taxi mnt" window. It is impossible for me to import it. A little further on that page user @beer_war posted the data from runway.txt. I can see those data too on my computer. How did he get it in P2A database?
April 4, 20233 yr Commercial Member In order to import airports that are not in the AIRAC data, you have to import All Airports, which will replace the definitions for your AIRAC airports and also import data from other airports, assuming they have runway taxi paths defined in the t5.csv file. This can take some time as there are lots of airports. Dave
April 4, 20233 yr Author This is what I have in t5.csv: UNBU,,12.00,50.264126,85.710480,5,12.00,50.264126,85.710258,1,12.00,50.264011,85.710266,1,12.00,50.263916,85.710228,1,12.00,50.263889,85.710075,1,12.00,50.263901,85.709869,1,12.00,50.263935,85.709763,1,12.00,50.263996,85.709732,1,12.00,50.264053,85.709778,1,12.00,50.264076,85.709854,1,12.00,50.264072,85.709999,1,12.00,50.264069,85.710152,1,12.00,50.264126,85.710258,1,12.00,50.264305,85.710266,1,12.00,50.264477,85.710274,7,12.00,50.264687,85.710289,1,12.00,50.264755,85.710350,1,12.00,50.264793,85.710457,1,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.264198,85.709839,5,12.00,50.264076,85.709854,1,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.264137,85.709595,5,12.00,50.264053,85.709778,1,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.263988,85.709534,5,12.00,50.263996,85.709732,1,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.263855,85.709618,5,12.00,50.263935,85.709763,1,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.263802,85.709854,5,12.00,50.263901,85.709869,1,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.264305,85.710472,5,12.00,50.264305,85.710266,1,12.00,50.264305,85.710045,5,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.263794,85.710106,5,12.00,50.263889,85.710075,1,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.263771,85.710381,5,12.00,50.263916,85.710228,1,12.00,50.263912,85.710464,1,12.00,50.263916,85.711533,1,12.00,50.263981,85.711716,5,0.00 UNBU,,12.00,50.264687,85.710289,1,12.00,50.264763,85.710228,1,12.00,50.264801,85.710068,1,0.00 Is this ok? It is still a nogo for me after importing all taxiways from all airports (green button).
April 4, 20233 yr Commercial Member There are no entries with a name, so they are ignored, resulting in no taxiPaths being read that define any runways or taxiways. Dave
April 4, 20233 yr Author I will just avoid those airports then😒 But I am still wondering why on this post airport UNBU is in the database. Something must have changed since then. Thanks for the support
