  1. Freezes are exactly every 30 seconds. I updated my NVidia video driver to version 555.99 and thought that was the culprit. I have to wait I guess... And Avsim is also not very cooperative, almost double post!
  2. After 12 years of sim racing on iRacing I changed my racing rig to a flight simulator rig and I don't regret it.
  3. I had this last week. I think it is a security (rights) problem on your computer. I searched and tried every possible solution I could find on the internet and nothing helped. My MSFS installation is on a separate drive D. Last thing I tried was to move the installation folder to C, but not enough room (windows doesn't notify you of this in advance😕). I had to cancel the operation and this takes a lot of time because it is a large directory). Because of this operation I think access rights were reset and I could buy from the store again. Good luck!
  4. Is it visible in the XBOX app? Maybe uninstall from there...
  5. I had the same black screen two days ago but that was after a crashing application. The only way for me was to restore a backup of my system (that was the easiest way for me). I guess there was something wrong with cache files. If you don't have a backup I would reinstall flightsimulator after making a copy of your community folder first. Edit: after looking a little bit further: there is also an option to repair the installation in Settings>Apps>Installed Apps. You could try that
  6. I did not test this but what about the option "prevent downloads on approach and departure" in general options?
  7. Asus PG279Q display (2560x1440) @100Hz Gsync fullscreen, Dynamic Super Resolution 3840x2160 on desktop (200% scale for my old eyes) and in MSFS, DLSS 3.7, Nvidia 4090, 13900KS CPU Absolutely stutterfree experience without shimmering using TrackIR panning since I read this article and changed my settings.
  8. That is exactly what I was thinking, but I want to be sure. Now we both are thinking the same. 😉
  9. I have never used Active Sky before and downloaded a version from their website to have access to the documentation. The user guide mentions a "Common Data Export Path" and I want to know if I can use ASFS with Little Navmap. LNM options has a setting for the Active Sky Weather File. Is this usable for the goal I have in mind?
  10. This was the first one I saw today and they got my attention😉
  11. I am having fun with it and have used the scripted ATC like Fshud and P2atc and the built in MSFS. I almost never fly IRL so the money is easily found😉
  12. Thank you, I found the problem! A synchronization program was accessing the file to copy it at the same time.
  13. Hi, There are frequent crashes of LorbyAxisAndOhs_MSFS.exe and I have no clue where to look. It is mostly the same error, but also very irregular. Application: LorbyAxisAndOhs_MSFS.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Thank you in advance, Jos
  14. 13900KS and 4090 in combination with TrackIR on 2540x1440 monitor and I don't use frame generation. Oh yes, I tried it but moving my head gives a shimmering effect or panning with the camera gives the same effect which I don't like. So I use TAA and DX11 and I am happy with that.
