Advice for Removing MSFS

Featured Replies

Rename your install folder (mine is c:\FS2020), uninstall MSFS and rename your install folder back and then reinstall to it.

I ended up doing the reinstall. Yeah the DL was pretty lengthy but was anticipated. However, with just the generic sim installed and no addons...still getting CTDs 😂😂😂 Ah well, nothing lost but time!

My sim started acting up after SU12 for really the first time ever. I started getting these long 15min pauses and some CTD's. I tried everything - Nvidia driver roll back, uninstall/re-install, clean community folder etc. Nothing worked. I made a backup of the sim and did a full windows re-install and my sim is supper smooth again. Completed 4 long hauls (20hrs total) and I have zero issues.
