April 18, 20233 yr for Mac users...can you run 3 monitors on an M1 Mac 16 gig,? One 42 inch and two 32 inch or similar? Not 4K but 1440 on the main and 1080 on the sides is ok.. I wonder because even some add ons like X Camera seem to freak out the M1, even with 16 gigs ram.The M1 can run resource hogs like DAWs without any problems... Anyone know about 3 monitors and how do you have yours set up? I mean only using one M1.... thanks

April 23, 20233 yr Is your Mac a laptop or the Mac Mini? Unfortunately, M1 macs only support two monitors natively. For the Mini, this means two monitors, while for the laptops it means the built-in display and one external. To add more, you need to use something like a DisplayLink dock or adapter. However, these adapters use the CPU for much of the video processing, so may not be ideal for something like a flight sim. https://www.macworld.com/article/675869/how-to-connect-two-or-more-external-displays-to-apple-silicon-m1-macs.html https://danielcompton.net/apple-m1-displaylink-multiple-display
