Expectant Mommy stopped by in the front yard and startled me with a youngling emerging onto the grass. She settled down eventually, ignoring me and tha' doggy, and went about her business for a few hours while posing for a few hasty phone pics until two newborn bambies were ready to follow her into tha' woods....

Such is living on the edge of a forest...

Cute.  Came across a fawn just standing still by the brush just of the trail we were hiking.  It was hard to see against the brush.  Didn't see mom around anywhere but I'm sure she was nearby.  When we returned an hour or so later the fawn was gone.

Ever see any bears Out there......... Thataway?

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Seen bears. They are usually (apparently) always late for important meetings though, and hurrying off in a rush.

Oh, and they occasionally search for secret files in my garbage...

That's why bear meat must be cooked very well done.  Like garbage fed pigs they are trichinosis carriers.
