May 22, 20233 yr According to the instruction displayed in the TAKEOFF tab under Weight and Fuel in Utilities, I can "Press FOB SYNC or enter Fuel On Board to confirm fuel.". Pressing FOB SYNC works, i.e., it updates the block fuel to what's displayed in the MFD but when I enter a fuel amount that is different than what's currently onboard, the block fuel displayed on the MFD does not update. Is there a way to specify a block fuel amount I would like for a flight or do I have to use whatever fuel amount is in the aircraft when it's loaded ? I know keystroke INSERT increases the onboard block fuel but the amount is arbitrary and I don't see a way to decrease block fuel. Thanks. zachlog

Matt (from WT) has stated in discord that fuel MUST be loaded in the sim (W&B screen) and then you must match that on the touchscreen. So the Longitude fuel cannot be edited in the GTC screen, only FOB SYNC works. Quote

Whatever you enter using the GTC is ONLY used for calculations (like v-speeds). Just as in the real plane changing the amount using the GTC will NOT change the actual amount of fuel on board. If you want to change the actual amount of fuel onboard you have to do it using the sims Weight and Balance screen. After changing it press on FOB SYNC (again) to make sure all calculations will be correct. Edited May 23, 20233 yr by tup61

Is there a way to access the W&B screen to update fuel WITHOUT ending the flight and then restarting it with the updated fuel ? Thanks. zachlog

Sure, just use the drop down menu and select the Weights and Balance option. Quote

For some reason, the W&B submenu was disabled in the custom toolbar so I had to enable it.....and I don't remember disabling it. Not seeing the W&B submenu was the primary driver for my questions. Thank you zachlog
