Hi,

This utility can be useful if you are flying with Pilot2ATC and any aircraft compliant with Hoppie Acars network. Currently we have the FBW and Fenix A320's for MSFS.

P2Acars will send a copy of main sentences from Pilot2Atc to your ARCDU in CPLDC format (short text), using Hoppie network.

If it's independend of the addon or simulator, the Maddog should work too since it uses Hoppie. You might want to add this to the documentation.

One question: Does this text you EVERYTHING P2ATC says, like also conversation with ground for taxi routes or QNH informations etc, or only real-life stuff like clearances and comms with ATC centers?

EDIT: Reading the documentation it seems like you still have to verbally ask P2ATC for e.g. clearance, then it will verbally answer and on top it will send a CPDLC. This doesn't seem really realistic and rather like a text-version of P2ATC. I'd rather have it integrated into the common CPDLC stuff, like when I'm requesting pre-dep clearance via the MCDU it will answer only via CPDLC etc. I understand, however, that this would need official integration with P2ATC. Still thank you for you work!

Of course it's not possible to use CPDLC only with Pilot2ATC as it does not expose any API.

Here is the message list send in CPDLC:

• Initial Clearance delivery
• Taxi to runway (Reply requested)
• TO clearance
• Frequency changes
• Climb altitude change (Reply requested)
• Expect procedure
• Descend procedure (Reply requested)
• Descend altitude change (Reply requested)
• APP clearance
• Taxi 2 gate (Reply requested)
