I would like to upgrade my computer. What changes would you recommend for me in order to have a better experience with the sim?

Here are my spec's.

Device name    DESKTOP-DVE9GNG
Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz   4.01 GHz
Installed RAM    16.0 GB
Device ID    ED016549-7448-49B9-A77B-813D824C4C49
Product ID    00325-95871-20219-AAOEM
System type    64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch    No pen or touch input is available for this display. The video card is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 970.

Thanks for any advice, Sonny

Of course that really depends on your budget!

With your system, I think you need to build/buy new. Your system is quite old and to upgrade just the CPU or GPU will not really make a difference, since you going to have a 'bottle neck' one way or the other.

My recent build is a i9-13900K/Z790 Gigabyte/32GB RAM/Noctua 15 air cooler/RTX 4080 and it is a beast, but this is just one suggestion. Important is that you use new components to have a better experience.

Hope that helps!

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.
