Taxi & Gate Maintenance Repository

Featured Replies

Are there any repositories to upload and download exported taxi & gate maintenance files that have been updated to be closer to the actual airport?

I keep mine backed up  but it would be nice epically for larger popular airports to grab a file someone else shared..

I haven't experimented with Taxi and Gate Mnt, but it looks interesting.   I also looked at flightsim.to and was hoping to see KSJC, but they don't have a P2A file.  When I open KSJC for gates I see the geo registration is shifted off.  Is this a P2A thing or an AIRAC thing?  Also, the C gates should be B gates.  If I fix this airport, will an update clobber my file?

looks like a fun thing, thankss

I always try to import the airport gates or taxiways first.  They might be correct in the latest SIM version.  AIRAC data doesn't include this information, so it has to be imported from the SIM in the case of X-Plane or MakeRunways in the case of other SIMs.  Therefore AIRAC updates don't affect it.

If you do end up making manual modifications to an airport, it gets marked as modified and if you import again, there is an option to overwrite modified airports, which you would want to leave unchecked.
