KDCA to KALB

Inbound IFR toward KALB on the ILS Rwy 19 from the south.   Everything was working until this handoff to Boston Center;  comms stopped after that.   I continued the flight and tuned to the tower and was then vectored off about 3 miles from the threshold after declaring I was established on final.   Pretty realistic rain, fun flight otherwise.
