August 5, 20232 yr Hi Folks. I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some help with mapping the Longtitude MFD GTC's rotary knobs to my Xtouch mini rotary knobs. A friend over in the WT Discord channel gave me this event AS3000_TSC_Vertical_2_INC/DEC for zooming the screen. However, the list of html variables in AAO does not list that. How would I find that in AAO? To be fair, my friend uses a different programme from AAO. Can anyone advise me on the best way to find the correct event for zooming the MFD screen in AAO? I don't mind a spot of trial and error, but I am unsure how to do that for html events. I have watched a few YT videos and have grasped the basics of using AAO but I am not a techy with regard to the various sim events and variables. Regards...Kenny. Option 1 has the benefit that you can easily update the name should it change (again) in the future. Edited August 5, 20232 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 5, 20232 yr Author Thanks for the prompt reply. I appreciate it. I have to say that your response will require quite a bit of research on my part. This will be an interesting journey for me. I am by no means conversant with the inner workings of RPN. I'll go away and have a trial of what you propose and do some homework on AAO. I am keen to learn though. Cheers...Kenny.
