AAU2 787 update fmc

Recommended Posts

I think the latest update for the 787 on the sim update beta has broken the fmc display. Just something to be aware of, understand it's still beta

I tried the 787 FMC yesterday with the new MSFS beta and it worked fine? Make sure that you have the latest package of the FMC.

Edit  - and it is still working, MSFS 1.34.10.0

I just get a partial page load with no functionality. Tried index, keypad, and screen. Also, how to assign IP and or port to things loaded in Community....they can't be "unloaded" to get the checkmark active.

There is no connection between AAO and the module. The "partial page" is just a static image that will always be there, but no data is coming from the sim.

Is this the latest version of AAO? The default ports have changed. And it is no longer required to change the port in these modules. If you are using the current AAO, then the moduls will get the information internally.

Edit: It is generally working, I just made a test in the MSFS Beta and the default 787 (same assets, nothing changed)

Thanks....way back when, I had to change the default port due to conflict. I have gone back into AAO and set the default port and updated all of the add-ons. Going to test it now.

Thanks,

Mike

EDIT: No Joy, same result. I am on 3.50 b36. All the plugins work except the 787 FMC. I will keep at it

ADDED INFO:

I have tried the A320, CJ, and PMDG 737. These all have functioning buttons but no(A320, CJ) or scrambled(737) images of the FMC screen.

All of them are working fine here (latest MSFS beta)

Change the WebAPI Port to the new default (43380), there is a button for that on the port dialog in AAO. Disconnect and restart the app after doing this.
Make sure that the two small green LEDs in the lower right corner of the AAO main window light up (=run AAO with the "As Administrator" option)

Make sure that you've re-downloaded all the FMCs, they have been updated only a couple of weeks ago. And when you update them, double check that the Web Page itself is updated too, not only the package that goes into the Community folder. Double check that the Community package is inserted correctly into the sim and that there are no artifacts from previous versions (way back the packages were named differently, starting with "lorbysi")

PMDG FMC uses a completely different technology, unrelated to the others. What does "scrambled" mean?

Also, what browser are you using to view them? Can it display HTML 5? Any restrictions regarding JavaScript?
