October 23, 200718 yr Hey,Is there a good software program to edit airports for FSX? For FS9 there was the great AFCAD program from Lee Sworthy but this isn't working anymore in FSX.Second question. When there is such a program how does the compiler function work. I heard you have to compile / decompile from XML to BGL etc. Thanks
October 23, 200718 yr There's ADE - Airport Design Editor from Scruffyduck Software: http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk/An early beta is available for immediate download, and the release candidate is just having the last few remaining issues dealt with.
October 23, 200718 yr Thanks. But how to save a edited BGL airport file. I will only save in format XML.
October 23, 200718 yr As Tim says, there are some new ones on the way. I've heard of at least two (the one Tim mentions and one other). There is also a commercial product on Flight One. You can check it out here.http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=afxv1Phill
