August 16, 20232 yr I have built a new PC... and added all my cockpit hardware (no change). Copied all my config XML files over from my previous system. For some reason, my devices are no longer recognized so all the assigned buttons are red for them. But the devices themselves are active and show under hardware blacklist as allowed, and if I remap the buttons, they work. Strangely, my X-Touch Mini is no longer connected and it's mappings are not showing as red. So what happened here? How do I avoid having to remap all the assigned buttons on these devices? ps. I still have access to the drive on my old system but can't boot it.... it's only accessible as a D: drive.

The IDs are not the same on different computers, they can even change when you plug hardware into a different USB port on the same computer. There is a dialog to re-map these IDs: "Hardware->Hardware Change". With that you can replace the GUIDs in the AAO config database with the actual/current GUID of the hardware device. LORBY-SI
