Introducing Connect Cockpit: A Remote Control Suite for MSFS

Featured Replies

Hey fellow flight sim enthusiasts!

I am excited to share a little project I've been working on:  Connect Cockpit. https://connectcockpit.com/

This tool offers a bit more flexibility when using the Microsoft Flight Simulator. Please note that this is a WORK IN PROGRESS and it’s far from complete.

Key Feature:

Manual Pause from Afar: One of the things I've found most useful is the ability to monitor the distance to your arrival airport right from the app. So, if you're away from your desk and notice your plane is nearing its destination, you can manually pause the sim with a tap on your phone/tablet, allowing you to return just in time for the descent and landing.

Other Features:

Cockpit Dashboard (Home Page): This real-time dashboard lets you control and observe your flight simulator.

Desktop App Download (Download App Page): Grab the required desktop companion app from here for seamless MSFS integration. Start the desktop app after the MSFS is already running on your computer.

Make A Suggestion (Suggestion Page): Feedback is gold! If you have any ideas or suggestions to enhance Connect Cockpit, I'm all ears. I would love to collaborate with other developers and flight sim enthusiasts. Like I mentioned earlier, this is a work-in-progress and with y’all feedback and suggestions, we can perhaps make this more useful.

I built this tool out of love for the flight sim community. While it's not the most polished professional tool out there, I genuinely hope it can be of use to some of you.

Give it a try and let me know your thoughts!

Happy flying! ✈️

Very graceful and kind.

One of the users suggested to add TOD notification. I have added the feature and will publish it tomorrow. Please do check and I hope it helps!

I have added a feature to notify when it’s time to descent. As you can see in the screenshot (below link), it will alert you when it's time to  descent and also there is an audible notification. So now if you are away from the computer, you will get the audible notification if the app is running on your computer or your phone browser. If it is running on your phone browser, then make sure the browser is active.

I have added the notifications for altitude and speed. If the current altitude or current speed goes higher than 5% of the set target altitude and target speed then the audible and text notification will pop up.
