September 1, 20232 yr Hello everybody During landing and using autopilot for approach The plane is not aligned in the center of the runway there is a drift of 2 degrees to the left and not centered. (I am using a payware airport on the other hand every thing is ok when landing in a non payware airport) The center line of my payware is thinner in thickness than default center line runways.

I disabled the addon scenery , played with the default and got surprised The drift occurs already with my default Cairo airport. Any suggestions
September 8, 20232 yr At international airports equipted with ILS approach systems the normal procedure is to switch off the autopilot (and it's ILS/GS approach mode) as soon as the pilot can see the target runway on which he plans to land. His approach and landing must from that moment on be manual but if there is any side wind the described sideways "drift" will always occur to some extent. It's then the pilot's very normal task to conteract this by steering his aircraft manually for a correct landing, if possible on the runway's center line. I strongly believe that it's a (probably default) side wind, which is causing the initial poster's "problem". Regards Hans
