Can I safely remove these two small partitions?

Featured Replies

As shown on the right side of the pic below, I have two small "unnamed" partitions. I don't know when they were created except it was a long time ago and I don't know what they are for. All I can think of (just guessing) is maybe one has to do with when I upgraded from Win7 to Win10, and the other perhaps is used by the Windows Restore function?? Might one of them be needed when it comes time to upgrade to Win11?  If not needed can I delete these two partitions and return the space to my C drive? If yes, what is the best way to do that?

Thanks very much,

Al

I wouldn't.  You are only looking at less than a Gig of space to recover. .  "If it ain't broke, don't fix" it might be a good motto here.

Thanks for the reply. I did a little more investigating and apparently those two partitions are called Recovery Partitions and they are currently 100% empty on my system. More info on Recovery Partitions here.

Not sure why both of my Reserved Partitions are apparently empty (100% free), however.
