September 2, 20232 yr Gerald, Lately I have been having an issue where MCE is intermittently not starting. I have it selected to start automatically when FSX starts. The indications are FSX starts normally, however MCE does not start at all. This includes the first flight of the day when it normally does the sound setup. I tried just starting it with the desktop shortcut or with the exe file but with no success. The only way to get it started is to power off the computer (hard boot), then restart the computer. This has been happening at least once every other day. Again I'm running FSX. My flying partner has been experiencing the same problem. Only difference is he does not have MCE starting automatically with FSX. This is a copy of the windows error log identifying the fault module as KERNELBASE.dll Thanks for the support, Tony J Version=1 EventType=APPCRASH EventTime=133381640588176943 ReportType=2 Consent=1 UploadTime=133381640590746863 ReportStatus=268435456 ReportIdentifier=e4065bb6-ca4e-463c-b617-d6a58451edd7 IntegratorReportIdentifier=a3f73c76-b74d-485b-8f7e-2960033ae090 Wow64Host=34404 Wow64Guest=332 NsAppName=mce.exe OriginalFilename=mce.exe AppSessionGuid=0000295c-0001-0210-796b-a53ae5ddd901 TargetAppId=W:0006ad1c41c9d0c0688bbb0c7a91d76f092e00000904!0000eaa0329216ffc6b096bc17336bb5d44d09a628bf!mce.exe TargetAppVer=2023//08//16:12:50:41!12f2ca!mce.exe BootId=4294967295 ServiceSplit=52690944 TargetAsId=483 IsFatal=1 EtwNonCollectReason=1 Response.BucketId=eb8ffe05a1637ad32bb3c4af02cd7272 Response.BucketTable=1 Response.LegacyBucketId=1996155315800601202 Response.type=4 Sig[0].Name=Application Name Sig[0].Value=mce.exe Sig[1].Name=Application Version Sig[1].Value=3.0.5.6 Sig[2].Name=Application Timestamp Sig[2].Value=64dcc621 Sig[3].Name=Fault Module Name Sig[3].Value=KERNELBASE.dll Sig[4].Name=Fault Module Version Sig[4].Value=10.0.19041.3324 Sig[5].Name=Fault Module Timestamp Sig[5].Value=be39fd8b Sig[6].Name=Exception Code Sig[6].Value=c0000005 Sig[7].Name=Exception Offset Sig[7].Value=0013d8c2 DynamicSig[1].Name=OS Version DynamicSig[1].Value=10.0.19045.2.0.0.768.101 DynamicSig[2].Name=Locale ID DynamicSig[2].Value=1033 DynamicSig[22].Name=Additional Information 1 DynamicSig[22].Value=2beb DynamicSig[23].Name=Additional Information 2 DynamicSig[23].Value=2beba6fb4680d73a8c78ca7c24ccdb46 DynamicSig[24].Name=Additional Information 3 DynamicSig[24].Value=1140 DynamicSig[25].Name=Additional Information 4 DynamicSig[25].Value=1140dd3559f90f62d8341618a8875d35 UI[2]=C:\Multi Crew Experience\mce.exe UI[3]=MCE main application has stopped working UI[4]=Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. September 3, 20232 yr Commercial Member Did experience it myself. The Demo package is already up to date. Ignore what the website says. It's actually V3.0.5.8 http://www.multicrewxp.com/Downloads.html Those on Ultimate Edition V3.0.5.4 or higher can just get the patch Unzip and replace a couple of files inside \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder.
