September 5, 20232 yr Dear All, I finally took the plunge and bought the "Personal" license of P3D v6. I have already applied the "Registry Trick" using a fictitious V4 install, and was able to successfully install AEROSOFT Madeira and the PMDG 777 200 LR ... But I miss ORBX Global Base, would like to use too and probably even buy Open-LC Europe, as well as the Majestic Q-400 PRO Edition and the iFly 737 MAX, ... Now, in order to be able to use the FSLabs Airbuses, and probably the recently released Concorde v2 I will have to also buy and install P3d v5.4, but then... Q1) Will I be able to also install AEROSOFT Madeira into v5.4, since I already used the fictitious v4 install to install it into v6 ? Q2) Will I be able to install all of the ORBX products into both 5.4 and 6 using the fictitious v4 install for installing it into v6 ? But then how will I be able to install it into v5.4 ? Any suggestions really welcomed 🙂 Yes if you use an external directory for Orbx and use the addons cfg file to reference that directory separately in each sim. So I think you could one theory avoid buying v5 purely for orbx I do not think FTX vector is needed for V5 onwards.
