September 24, 20232 yr Great set of images from this popular UAL (domestic) route, but yes, it needs two posts...🙂 ...sometimes that's easier than picking/editing to "20" screenshots...speaking from experience...🙂 ... I recall one of my two flights to that destination on this route...it was with TED United of the yesteryears ...I think the a/c was an A320 not a B737... Thanks for sharing ...!

Thanks yea next post will be 2 parts. Oh Yes Ted our Airline w/in an airline concept you are correct we operated all A-320-232 aircraft. Ted started in 2004 and ended in 2009. Ted started in 2004 and ended in 2009. Thank you for the flashback note about TED airline...🙂... Yes, it was near about the ceasing period of TED, that I'd travelled (last) from Chicago to Las Vegas, on the airline's A320 (Just now cross-checked with my better-half...🙂...it was during the 2008 end-of-year holidays, and I understand TED ceased in January 2009...) The reason I recalled TED to Las Vegas, here, was due to a curious (but memorable) bit of experience I'd during that flight. Briefly stated, it is as follows (please bear with me, non-pilot speaking, here): "During the final descent for touchdown to KLAS, following an announcement by the Pilots, the cabin crew distributed small (2x4 inch) blank cards to the pax...tasked to calculate the current weight of the A320 a/c. I recall that the announcing pilot provided sufficient number of hints such as for the empty weight, number of passengers on board, fuel etc. Being an (overly) avid and diligent simmer of the time...🙂..., I'd just flown the (ORD-LAS) route with an "Aerosoft" A320 (the FSL A320 was not out by then, I think...). Anyway, the Cards, with our answers and seat numbers, were then promptly collected back by the crew. Just after landing, the pilots announced, whoever is on Seat No. XYZ, has the closest answer to the actual weight...who was yours truly...🙂...As we stepped out of the exit gate, someone from TED, handed us 2 Tickets to the Blue Man Group Show...small reward, but I thanked my SIM...🙂...And, during the show that weekend, which we enjoyed, one of the Blue Man performers came climbing over the seats, just past my shoulder, spraying bits of blue...the audience was forewarned of course...it was a bit wild, but fun...Oh well..."
