Acceleration and ToolTips

With DX10 enabled I get no cockpit tooltips functioning. When it's off they work. Anybody else get this?Core 2 Quad Q6600, Nvidia 8400GS 256 mb (169.01 beta driver), Vista Home Premium, 3 gigs ram.

Yes, I have also lost my tooltips..another thing to look for is the loss of the progressive taxi yellow guide arrows. This applies only when DX10 preview is enabled. The problems go away when you disable the DX10.Please let us know if you (or anyone else) experience these losses.

Hopefully this small bump will provide a solution if any.

How do you turn off the DX10 preview?

I have the same problem. Did you find out how to fix it?

There is a checkbox in the Options-Displays drop down.By default, this box is unchecked. If you enable it you have to stop and restart FSX.It also I believe checks your hardware for a DX 10 compatible video card.Ron
