I can’t imagine Asobo would have put all the time and effort into this without some confidence they would get through a licensing review.  I’d also be surprised if they just worked on it in a vacuum without checking in with Mitsubishi along the way.  It’s probably just taking some time for final review and maybe they need to make a few tweaks etc to pass review.

Yea no way they even began to work on the MU-2 without Mitsubishi's permissions.
