P3Dv5.4: Lightning - Black Boxes

Featured Replies

Using Active Sky, ASCA, EA and Nvidia 537.42.  Used to get great lightning depictions.

In most recent flight, when on ground I had couple of normal lightning reflections and actual arcs but after takeoff all I got were the boxes. Did search on P3D forum but couldn't find anything, although I remember reading about this somewhere quite a while back.

I suppose I should load up the previous driver.  In middle of flight right now.  Will report back after loading up previous driver.

rgds,

Walter

It might have something to do with the “Dynamic Reflection“ setting, IIRC. Try turning that off.

Tried different settings with no luck.  Updated to latest driver (537.58) and so far is good... We will see.  Thank you so much for response.

545.84 is now the latest driver.  I downloaded it and tried it out...no problems on my end.

My only question is how did this version JUMP SO FAR from 537.58 to a whopping 545.84?  I just don't get that one!
