FlyByWire Simulations | A32NX | API service down

Featured Replies

Hi there,

short NOTAM:
unfortunately our API service stopped working affecting several systems including our Installer and aircraft systems including parts of the flyPad
(weather, VATSIM, etc.) and the MCDU (flight number, TELEX, etc.). Please have some patience while we investigate and fix the issue. You should otherwise still be able to fly normally even without some of these systems.

Happy Grounding!

Hi there, short update:

we're still trying to sort things out. We have some ideas/suspicions, but had to block all METAR requests for now. If you need METAR data in your EFB or MCDU, we suggest to switch to "MSFS" as METAR source in the EFB settings (ATSU/ AOC). Then you will get the latest METARs directly from the sim.

I had a similar issue with the Horizon 787-9 yesterday. It complained about a formatting error in the wind request and also did not load the metar. maybe it’s related.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, maybe it is. We'll check that.

We checked with Horizon. We assumed they may use our API for their systems. But they don't. So it wasn't related.

That just randomly happens. I had it happen with the base 787-10 once. Probably a simbrief issue.
