November 19, 20232 yr Things were working fine, so i did the recent update, copied the files over into the existing directory. Now it seems like some of the applications i have set to launch when the sim starts, arent launching, a few are however. I've tried removing them and re-adding them. Anyone know what might be the cause here? EDIT: i reverted to the old version folder, but seems to still be an issue, at least with batch files not appearing. I even unchecked all that were enabled except one batch file, same result, it never launches EDIT2: i think it may be running the batch files but they arent visible when it does, as i put a kill msfs in one and set to 20 sec timeout, it killed the exe.. which is strange because i run the tool as admin, you would think it would show the cmd windows as part of the batch files, i swear this worked before EDIT3: even if i run as NOT admin the addon linker app, the batch window itself never appears (i have a pause mid way in the batch file.. ) it does prompt for admin rights when it triggers the afterburner profile switch however, its how i knew it was at least running Edited November 19, 20232 yr by theskyisthelimit Asus Strix z790-e; 1000 watt evga SuperNova Plat; 14900k AC_LL 0.55 adp -0.050 253/253/355 CEPoff (CB-1pass 39200 80c, msfs peak 92,avg 60-78c, astrorender 95c,room76F); 64GB(dual 32) cl32 6400 at 6400 xmpII F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RK, Asus Ryuo III 360mm; Thermaltake v51 Case; Gigabyte 4090 OC; VR-Crystal; Dofreality H6; Astrosite
November 19, 20232 yr hello, oh i just replied on the fs.to site, I guess you're the same person. I asked you there if you could please send me some more info about your configuration and AL settings, maybe send them via PM here as the messages are a bit more easier to manage here than on fs.to. i think the 'black command window' doesn't appear if you call a batch file because I call it in 'hidden mode', so putting a PAUSE command inside the batch is probably not a good idea because it will probable stop the process with no possibility to make it continue (i haven't tried that yet). Not really sure what is happening (there's are some many things that can happen with differerent Windows settings and user profiles) but hopefully we'll find out. Probably i'll have to send you some sort of 'debug' program to understand with a written log exactly what the program is trying to do. 😱 Edited November 19, 20232 yr by Bad_T
