Run at highest Hz or lower?

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have purchased 3 identical Dell monitors which go up to 165hz refresh.

when setting up the nvidia surround I can choose a number of refresh rates between 50 -165hz.

My MSFS is capped at 30FPS but I’m finding on average it’s between 20-25fps as I have ultra settings.

Does the nvidia refresh affect anything and should I set the screens to 50hz or 165hz or somewhere in between, as I don’t know if it will make the game smoother or if there is no affect as fps is lower?

thanks

what graphics card are you running and does your monitor type have any form of variable sync (VRR/GSync etc)?

Edit: I actually am not experienced using surround.  So my help will be limited.  Though I think providing all your specs will help get the best advice.
