How do I Merge two F-18s?

Recommended Posts

I have an FS9 freeware F-18. Its awesome I love it. Except the VC, the acceleration VC is better. So I am thinking of merging the two. Any ideas how I can do that?I am thinking the exterior and the VC cannot be separated. Thats what I have been told which is fine. I can use the Acceleration exterior and its VC. But I want to use the freeware F-18s, Sound, Effects and flight model. How would I do that? anyone ..please!MannyBTW,,the FS9 Freeware F-18 that works fine in FSX is this Daisuke Yamamoto's http://www.gjsmith.net/Textures/f18.htmI thought Captain Sim's exterior must be good... and its still good. But it looks like Captain sim has saved the best for a separate payware for $30. In any case, I actually like Daisuke Yamamoto exteriors and the effects. Its got the vapor effects when you pull a negative G. And the Sound is so much better too.

You cannot. FS9 and FSX .mdl files are utterly different and incompatible. As for replacing the flight model, I don't recommend that either, unless you don't mind completely breaking the launch and tailhook features.
