What causes this?

Recommended Posts

Sorry for no screen cap but I'll try to describe the problem as best I can. Started FSX/Accel yesterday and selected the F/A-18. When flight started in VC mode I noticed that a few of the small EGT readouits were greyed out. Switched to spot mode and several parts of the a/c were out of place. The canopy was to the right of the fuselage and rotated 90 degrees so that it was sticking straight up. Where the gear are supposed to be were the elevators only also rotated so that they were vertical.Ultimately rebooted and it didn't repeat. Is this a driver issue or is something else going on here?Thanx,VicQ6600 G0 CPU 2.4 o/c 3.6Evga 680i A1 with P30 BIOS 2G XP2-8500 DDR2 1066FSB Mushkin 996535 RAM 5-5-4-12-2T320G 7200 HD partitioned for XP/Vista/Programs 2 - 74G Raptors in RAID0 500G 7200 HD for backup SATA DVD burner Evga 8800GTS 640 PCIx Kandalf LCS case w/ built in liquid cooling 850W Thermaltake power supplyVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-supporter-sigbanner.jpgRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/

I have had the same thing happen not sure if its a driver issue or an FSX issue. This happened to me from time to time with SP1 and has also happened post Acceleration. If it happens while you are in FSX press ALT choose Options>Display when you get to the graphics options screen of FSX just hit cancel and return to the sim. All should be back to normal. This has worked for me everytime the issue has manifested itself.
