December 11, 20232 yr I have had to do a reinstall of Windows and MSFS and all the other stuff which means I have lost all my progress in NeoFly and I'm just not willing to do all the tests to fly the aircraft that I want to again. I have spent 4 days getting it all up and running and I just want to fly. I just want to get into the situation I was in before I lost it all. I know how to use a database editor to change the money amount but where and what variable am I looking for to change my licenses? If I go to the "players" table where I can adjust the money amount I can see that "catA" is active with a "1" so one would think just changing "catC" to a "1" and saving it would result in an active Cat C license when the app is launched but it doesn't work so what am I missing? 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2
December 11, 20232 yr hello, i'm also a proud NF cheater 😱🙈🙊😜 .. actually glad the creator does not lock the database so that everyone can play the way he wants without being stuck 👍 did that a while ago so can't remember everything but i think you need to edit the playerQualifications table as seen in the screenshot below (8 entries per player to give you all the 8 available qualifications). so create/update 8 rows in that table per pilot. Each row will give you a different qualification. - first column -> unique number - second column -> number going from 1 to 8 increasing for each row - third column -> id of your pilot as seen in the players table - fourth and fifth column -> 1 Then yes also put 1 in every 'CatX' column of the players table it that doesn't work it's probably because i forgot something i did. There are also some videos on Youtube that explain how to edit the DB, back then, when i checked, i think they were made for earlier version of NF where the DB was a bit different but maybe new videos are now available for the current version. 🍻
