AP not following RXP path

Featured Replies

I have this issue with both GTN and GNS, but I'm posting here because the GNS is the unit that is currently installed on the plane.

Ok, Alabeo Saratoga TC P3D5.  When I enter a flightplan or just a Direct To leg, the CDI is in GPS mode, when I hit NAV, the AP will turn due North and continue in that direction. As I said, this is with the GTN unit and the GNS unit, I'm using HDG mode to get to the path and no matter where I'm at in relation to it, either on it, just left or just right, hit the NAV button and it turns to 360/00 Degrees, due North.

I installed the GNS using the Alabeo/Carenado installer and then adding the unit(s) with the RXP installer in the Sim.

Have you run the updater to the latest version of the RXP? This is a symptom of an out-of-date RXP version.

Ok....Updated both....New issue.

Using the GNS and the Saratoga. I have the 530 and the 430 both onboard.....However, the AP only seems to be connected to the 430....Which makes me think I've gotten a setting wrong somewhere....But for the life of me, I can't figure out what..

This is my RealityXP.GNS file for the Realair Turbine Duke that uses a 530/430 with the 530 driving the autopilot.

Pay attention to the "MasterDevice" entry and I suggest ensuring that it is set to "True" for the 530 and "False" for the 430.
