Fly something about 150knt. as far as scenery there is a bunch so I say just turn on what you have for Arizona. We will decide on weather on wed. December 19, 20232 yr Some Yuma Scramble SceneryJosh is proposing a scramble from Yuma and then eastward. You may want to “stock up” your Arizona scenery (and maybe that for Utah, New Mexico and Southwest Colorado). I have compiled a collection of many airports, though certainly not all. (If you download and install any of these, please take care to avoid having duplicate sceneries active.) These packages are available on a temporary basis. They are for our private use and not for general distribution. You might consider:Scenery Arizona (Airports). 291 MBScenery Utah (Airports). 541 MBScenery New Mexico (Airports). 732 MBScenery Colorado Southwest (Airports). 232 MB You may have a payware for Phoenix Sky Harbor KPHX (BMWorld and AmSim) in which case you want to disable the freeware version in the package. Again, you may have a payware KSLC and should act accordingly. You might also consider some spectacular photogrammetric landscapes. You may already have these. If not, they are really good but are large downloads which may take some time depending on your connections. These are at Flightsim.to. Arizona:Monument Valley v3.0. Jeppeson2001. 814 MBSedona Cinematic v1.0. Georender. 659 MB Utah:Arches Cinematic v1.1. Georender. 1.02 GBBryce Canyon National Park v2.0. Jeppeson2001. 1.88 GBZion Canyon National Park v1.0. Jeppeson2001. 1.22 GB This is lots of stuff. If you might take us to any Points of Interest, not in the default, you might let us know so that we can prepare. (We are not likely to have active all interesting radio telescopes, etc.)PS. If we agree to stay in the state of Arizona, then we can limit the amount of scenery that we need active. Would we want to restrict our route to within the state lines? --Mike MacKuen
December 19, 20232 yr There are many interesting areas just across the border from AZ to neighbouring states, so I suggest to allow those excursions across the border. Regards Gunter Schneider
December 19, 20232 yr Author I wasn't planning on going up to the N parks as that scenery is heavy on resources and some don't have the machines to run it. This is a scramble so we might end up there who noes . I have found that those NP scenery's work best if taking off from those locations. I have had my computer crash flying into those areas from afar. Just my thought. CPU: Intel i9-11900K @5.2 / RAM: 64GB DDR4 3200 / GPU: 4080 16GB /
