taking off only from beginning of the runway?

There are cirumstances, where it would save time/fuel to take off from an intersection of the runway other then the beginning. Especially with smaller aircraft (e.g. Cessna 172) I wont need a 4000m runway.

Normally P2A directs me to the beginning of the runway. Could I just ignore this and take any intersection?

Yes.  Go to any intersection and tell Ground "<CallSign> request midfield departure".  Then tell Tower "<CallSign> ready for mid field departure".
